Tate Britain is the home of British art. So to show how the themes in their collection are still relevant in today’s Britain, this OOH campaign featured cultural talking points of the present day and linked them to masterpieces from multiple eras.

Live weather updates were used to connect art in the Tate Collection to the present day. Each poster used a masterpiece to illustrate the local weather report. The data was refreshed regularly to keep the forecast accurate and showcase different works from Tate’s huge art collection.
First executed several years ago, the concept is still live today as part of Tate’s social content strategy on Facebook and Instagram. Just search for #TateWeather to see how it evolved.
